Everything the Mahak project publishes — the source code, the documentation, the benchmark prompts, the rubric criteria, the contributed model outputs and their metadata, and the result exports — is an Islamic endowment (waqf) under the Waqf Digital Public License, version 1.0, level 1: Attribution (WaqfDPL-Isnad 1.0). This page explains it in plain language; the full license text is the binding reference if anything conflicts.

The licensing matrix

"Attribution" means: credit the original grantor (WaqfTech and Mahak), name the license (WaqfDPL-Isnad 1.0), and link its text where you can, without implying that the grantor endorses your derived work.

Public exports carry aggregated numbers — including per-country engagement breakdowns (buckets under 5 voters withheld) — and contain no rows that identify an individual voter.
Screenshots	Feature removed	The screenshot upload path was removed entirely; no screenshot data is collected going forward. Legacy rows, if any exist, were never public exports.

Sharia purpose clause

This work is an endowment for public benefit. The license to use it terminates automatically, and with immediate effect, for anyone who directs the work or its derivatives toward what contradicts Islamic principles or its explicit prohibitions — such as gambling, pornography, subversion of creed, or explicit interest-based (riba) dealings — or who breaches the license terms (for example, dropping attribution, or commercially exploiting beneficiary data). A breaching party gets a technical grace period of no more than 30 days to remove the copies they distributed.
